About the firm

A small crew that plants what the Front Range can carry

Ragland Native Landscapes is a crew of seven in Denver.

Candace Ragland started the firm after watching clients replace bluegrass that the climate kept killing. We seed and plant natives and low-water perennials, set drip lines to go with them and tell people how long the first year really takes.

We run a small number of jobs at a time, so the person who walks your yard is the person who writes the plan.

How we work

  • One plan per yard, written after the walk-through

  • Seed and plants chosen for the yard, not the catalog

  • Notes after every visit
